José Geraldo Furtado
Jose Geraldo Furtado was born in 1962 in Leopoldina-MG. Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
Master graduate Program in Visual Arts of EBA-UFRJ in 2014.
Works as a light design since 1984, carrying out projects in the field of video, exhibitions, music, dance, opera and theater.
From 1999 develops work seeking the light a material of expression, using for the Drawing, Photography, Video and Installation.
Formed by the School of Fine Arts of the UFRJ 1991-1994.
Light Design hired of Course Dance of the UFRJ since 1992; Professor of “Light” of the Faculty of Dance Angel Vianna, since 2002; received the Awards ‘RioDança’ 1998 and 2000 in category Lighting.
Light Design of Esther Weitzman dance company since its creation.
