Mônnica Emilio

Mônnica Emilio is a dancer, actress and teacher. Currently she is teaching at Cândido Mendes University – UCAM (RJ) and Casa de Artes de Laranjeiras – CAL (RJ). Mônnica holds a BA in Theater and Teaching Higher Education from Centro Universitário da Cidade (RJ).
As a ballerina she pursued her studies at Maria Olenewa State School of Dance (RJ) and the Joffrey Ballet School (NY/ USA). Mônnica danced in different dance companies, among them are State Ballet of Missouri (KC/USA) and Dance Company Theater Magdeburg (Germany). She has joined Esther Weitzman Dance Company since 2011.
