Gisele Alvim

Gisele Alvim has a degree from Escola de Dança Maria Olenewa do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro and has a major in Physical Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro.
Gisele has worked as a teacher, professional dancer and choreographer since 1997, always pursuing new forms of expressions to teach and new possibilities as a performer and creator.
In order to achieve this goal she opens Gisele Alvim Espaço de Dança in 2010, a dance space, which brings together professionals with the common goal of research artistic and educational development of students by promoting dance, circus, theater, yoga, ayurveda and body arts.
